Maui Hawaii 2011 - that was it!!

22 Nov. 2011

Describing our Event on Maui in short words is one of the hardest things if not an impossible thing to do. Everybody who´s been there with us will understand what I mean. Even though the two weeks on the island felt like such a short time, the list of things worth mentioning is still too long...

But since pictures are saying more than a thousand words, maybe our photo galleries of the trip are a better way of describing our time on Maui.

A small selection you can see at the Gallery page of this website.

A wider choice of pictures you will find at our facebook page, or if you curious to see all of them click here.

Despite all the traveling we do during the year, Maui always remains a special trip to us. Not only because of the amazing conditions on the water or the beauty of the island. There is somehow more to it.

Surf Movie Maker, Taylor Steele describes traveling like that:

Travel keeps you young. It does that by simply putting you in situations that makes you feel like a child again. Magicaly lost in a moment of discovery. Beautifully confused. It could be the first time you awaken to the 05.00 a.m. call to prayer from the local mosque on Maroccos far Atlantic shore, the first time you feel the weight of the eqyptian sun on your shoulders, the first time you paddle out over the shallow reefs of the Caribbean or the first time you realize that people living in a squalor can achieve happiness as easily as people living in a manson. These´re lifes opportunity to shed the hustle of modernity, to join the moment and stop sprinting towards some prefabricated goal. Your heart races, your metabolism shifts into a lower gear. Everything is new again.

Your´re sipping jetstreams...

I think all of us who have some kind of travel experience understand what Taylor means. Hawaii, as one of the remotest places on the planet will always remain an adventure. Something special. Something everybody should see and experience - at least once in a lifetime.

To all of you who´ve been with us on this trip to the other side of the world this time - thanks for making that Event special again.

We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

And - to say it with Taylors words, - we can´t wait sipping jetstreams with you again.
