Sailing Courses & Crew Coaching
Learning to sail with Watersports Training means as much practical experience as possible and only as much theory as absolutely necessary. Our course offerings are primarily aimed at aspiring skippers and their crews who want to feel more confident before venturing out to sea alone and taking full responsibility for family and friends on board. Port maneuvers—one of the biggest stress factors for new skippers—are extensively trained, as well as boat handling in strong winds and all other areas that often lead to stress on board and are often neglected in regular sailing courses.
The Bay and Strait of Gibraltar is an ideal sailing area, offering great and mostly sunny sailing conditions and unique landscapes throughout the year.

Atmosphere on Board
Our trainers prioritize not only your learning progress but also a relaxed and friendly learning atmosphere. If you prefer traditional hierarchies, commands, and etiquette, this is not the place for you. :) However, this does not mean we overlook the essential safety rule that "there is only one skipper on board." A significant part of our coaching focuses on communicating these decisions with the crew and distributing responsibilities and tasks among the crew members.
Hectic and stressful situations are often a sign of a lack of experience and poor communication from the skipper. Our goal is to change this and create a calm, relaxed, and competent atmosphere on board through our coaching.
